David Wilcox was born in Twin Falls and raised in Jerome, ID. He is a Jerome High School graduate, and a graduate of the College of Southern Idaho. He got his start in the insurance business 13-years ago in April, 1996. He followed in the footsteps of his father, two uncles, and both grandfathers.
In 2004, David joined NAHU and has been an active member ever since. He has served as Treasurer, President Elect, and Chapter President. He is a 4-year member of LPRT (the Leading Producer’s Round Table).
David earned his CDHC certification (Consumer Directed Health Care) in June, 2007.
David earned his RHU designation (Registered Health Underwriter) through the American College in November, 2007.
David qualified for NAHU’s Presidential Triple Crown award in 2008.
David has been a Regence, Blue Shield Preferred Broker since 2001.
He’s been a Blue Cross Select Broker, and has been recognized by many other companies for his work in life insurance, disability insurance, and health insurance sales.
David was nominated in 2009 for the David Isern memorial award, Idaho's highest
recognition of health insurance professionals., etc.
He has been active in his church and his community.
David and and his wife Sharla have six children and have been married for 14-years.
